Subject: Add-Ons in 2.78

I have just moved up to Blender 2.78 and cannot find any add-ons under the preferences tab. How can I get them?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that that happened before with one of the daily builds. Are you using the most recent official release?

I would try re-downloading from https://www.blender.org/download/

Agree with MDO2010 re-download and reinstall sounds like what is needed something may have become corrupt
