Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
Not seen one but you could get in the ballpark with a modelling app. Create a hexagon, extrude, duplicate ad infinitum. Alternately, you could try using a hexagon pattern and displacement.

Yep. Daleks.
Here's a rough as a bear's arse idea I tried out, using the Stained Glass filter in Photoshop, added to Displacement in Poser. Looks like it could work well with a higher res image and more care in choosing the colours.

I haven't gone any further with the idea; I used a 1024 x 1024 greyscale image with the cells of differing shades of grey to give varying heights. That was applied to the One Sided Square primitive. The colour is from a Granite node mixed with the greyscale map.
Maybe a higher res, say 4096 x 4096, made tileable would give better results. Reducing the border size of the cells and blending into the cell area would make things smoother, too.
Note to self: Never try to type in a room full of shouty children.

is that the same place that's on the cover of Led Zep's Houses of the Holy?
One of those classic album covers that used to jump out at the record store, yes its the same place.

Greetings, forum members. I have a question I hope someone can answer.
I am wanting to do a Viking-themed picture in Poser. I have an idea as to how to do it, but I can't find one thing - the scenery. I thought to see if I could find something similar to the Giant's Causeway in northern Ireland, but I've had no success in locating such a package.
If anyone knows of a suitable scenery set, I'd love to hear about it.
Much appreciation!
