Subject: Clothing Morphs Not independant

quietrob ( ) posted Wed, 25 January 2017 at 1:17 PM ยท edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 6:00 AM

After I conform clothing, I sometimes want to increase, say, the Breast Size or Waist width of the selected clothing. When I do, V4 body follows suit making any adjustment for poke through or a tighter fit useless. It does no good to increase V4's clothing cup size when her body breast size increases along with the clothing.

This is different behavior than what I'm used to. I could use some help, please. Thank you.

Anything for you, Miss B.

No Promises as to the "Fix". I was told this (the body following the clothing changes) is how Superconforming Clothing works. Now I think it's more flexible in it's use. It worked for me.

Select the clothing. Go to the little white arrow on the side. Click it. At the Bottom of the box will be Master Sync enabled. It is most likely checked. Uncheck and test. For me the result was that the clothing morphs operated without affecting the entire body. If this is a problem for you, try it and profit!

An alternative is to tweak the morphs in the body parts, e.g. chest - I think only the "Body" level morphs conform

I haven't had that issue yet, but I do have a number of outfits that are superconforming, so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks Rob. ;)

@ianr Actually my experience has been that the "Body" morphs don't work at all but the individual body parts e.g. Neck, Chest et al, do work. However even when I would say, tweak the PBM Young parameter, the entire body was morphing young as well. I'll be trying this out on Sickleyields cloths for V4 which have morphs that don't work at all once it's conformed. At least not for me. The morphs do work as long I don't conform it to the body. Luckily they are chest and hip cloths so parenting was the savior there.

@Miss B I like information threads. Hopefully it helps someone else in the future.
