Subject: Why Can I See Through Hair From Different Angles?

So quick question, I'm really new to poser and I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out why I can see through my character's hair from different angles. Like from the front, the sides of the hair don't show, and I just see straight through to the background. But then when I rotate, I see that the sides of the hair are there (I'll try to add pictures to better explain). Does anyone know how I can make it not do this? I am hoping to animate with poser once I get better at it and I was hoping that I could stop it from doing this when animating.

You won't get this in a render. this is because it is a transparent texture.

Which Poser version are you using? What is happening in preview, your backfacing polys are not being projected towards the camera which makes them appear transparent. In Poser 11 Pro, enter render settings, click on the preview tab and uncheck the remove backfacing polys tick box.

Thanks, both of your responses were very helpful :)
