Subject: hi how do you use shaders in poser i bought some from parrot dolphin

HI

Install them - They will be in the Materials area

In your scene, pick the thing you want to change. Poser will tell you what you have selected in the upper left corner of the Preview Window.

go to the Materials

Double click the one you like

The material will ask you where you want it to go!

The Thing you have selected probably has many Material zones. These will appear in a drop-down list. Choose the one you want to change. If you don't like it, Control Z will undo it.

You can also drag a material from the library and drop it directly on a polygon in the preview window, which allows you to skip having to pay attention to which figure, which material zone.

You can also open the material room, select material zones with the mouse or a pulldown, and whichever zone you're in, you just double click the library icon without having to identify where you want it to go.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
