Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
All these renders of her are quite nice. But I see a faint snarl on that gals face. It's in the nose, and the eyebrows that are too high on her forehead. She doesn't look quite right to me somehow. I've read all the debates and seen all the various pictures. There is something about her that is very unreal looking to me. Not plastic, but robotic in a way. Guess she's not soft enough for me. But in time, with enough morphs, something quite unexpected will come out of her and she'll be the next big thing.
I think she will work out great...just will take time and effort. Look how many morphs Traveler and Jaager and others kicked out for Vickie before people were really happy with her. You don't see too many renders of just plain old Vickie. 8^) I think her shoulders could use work, and Jim Burton has pointed something out that may help. Marque
If you haven't yet, check out the flesh & blood Dina they 3d scanned for the model: http://www.dinarotica.net/ I agree that there is something about Dina (Poser) that is just odd - maybe the nose, face too wide, I don't know. I remember the Vicky debates, but Vicky was just rather plain looking - which is fine. Dina though . . .Hopefully morphers will improver her. I bought the model and hope DSI continues the low cost hi-rez thing, just go for a smaller bust and a more "normal" face.

I really hope the original girl never gets to read any of our musings. I think the quirky mouth comes from her upper lip, I think it's kind of cute. It's a fact that no face is ever perfectly symetrical, that's what gives the illusion of reality. I hope when the Morphers get going they don't destroy that reality.
