"What 3D Program Should I buy?" Not one person here can really tell you what's best for you, as everyone has their own taste in workflow. Try the demo or learning edition of the program you're interested in, this is the only way to find out which programs you like.
Been playing with the free version of Rocket 3F. Love it's simple interface very much. It's underworkings are shared with NVil (formerly Voidworld). I've posted to both the Nvil and Rocket 3F forums asking what the differences are (other than UI) and I'm having a hard time in getting a straight answer.
Anyone know what the differences are in features and toolsets? I've asked a few times at the NVil forum and only received vague responses from the Istonia - creater of Nvil and co-creator of Rocket 3F.
Kenmo, I took a look at the Rocket3F Youtube videos, and honestly, it looks to me like a slightly more polished and advanced iteration of the same software. I can not speak for the developers obviously, and I'm not criticizing it at all. It actually looks like a very decent piece of software from the videos, especially for beginner level or intermediate modelers. Just speaking from a personal observation perspective alone, it seems the main difference is R3F has more industry standard and intuitive UI.

Hay, Rocket 3F is based on NVil, and take all the best from it!
We are glad to let you know that from versio 1.3.5 we introduce Pro and Corporate versions!
Pro is a flagship version of Rocket 3F, you can customize it the way you need it, you can change hotkeys, create your own User Interface, create your own StreamLine and Composite Tools, create your own Radial menu, etc... you can change everything! And the main feature is that you will get thousands and thousands of new tools that is not available in Free and Basic versions.

I was considering purchasing Rocket3F as it seems like a bargain the developer seems really considered about his product BUT I recently got an e-mail from Never Center that a newer version of Silo3D v 2.4was available for downloading, although it is beta. Looks like Silo3D may not be abandoned as I had thought....

Hi If you want an easy and quick way to make models you might like Rocket 3F. It gets regular updates and is free as long as you renew your license. It works really well with 3D Coat and even has bridges to other software.
