Subject: blank library

VolcanicMink ( ) posted Mon, 13 March 2017 at 12:40 AM ยท edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 7:20 PM

Had a lot of problems with Poser (PP12) lately, so I uninstalled and reloaded it - 4 times. First the updates weren't finding it, and now the library is completely blank. Used the "Other" option for the external runtimes. Tried the location of the old library and tried a new one. I recall seeing the "blank library" thread some time ago, but could not find it in the Archives. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a couple solutions ... give me till later today and I will look them up.

Here we go:

from Smith Micro

I got some info when this issue arose during P11's early days ... if this doesn't work, let me know I will see where I saved that information.

HI Boni. Well, the first 2 of their suggestions had no effect, and the 3rd disabled Windows and internet. My best friend repairs and rebuilds computers, and he fixed it. We were able to reinstall Poser successfully after, so I'm back in production. Almost. Still have to reload the external library, but I wanted to reorganize that anyway. This weekend's project. Then I will hopefully find the other issues are gone that made me reinstall the program in the 1st place!

Thank you, though. It worked out.

Although I am sorry my information didn't work, I am thankful you got this resolved.
