what plugins havent i heard of? for esoteric reasons

Hi There's Virtual world Dynamics VWD Plugin for dynamic cloth, via Philemo's bridge works pretty good now the manual has been updated .

we had a good thread on daz discussing techniques and it was deleted

I didn't realise they'd be so shortsighted otherwise would have wayback machined it

It is puzzling that info leading to increased sale of their product is removed. Of course they don't see it that way. Apparently ignorance fits into their sales model.

VWD makes a great way to convert older content for use with your Genesis 3 in Carrara figures.

OK, not sure where to post this but I found something interesting

I render at 24FPS

my cloths were not syncing in Octane, it was correct every third frame

so I changed to 30FPS and its fine

I am unsure if its Carrara, VWD or Octane plugins that are the issue

I can live with it, my animated renders will just take 1/6 longer

but am a bit puzzled as to why it would not at least tween

actually I will still compile at 24FPS probably just will go slower!

after 1800 frames it started again so now I am rendering 60FPS and am going to go through and delete the rogue images before compiling in hitfilm

that's not a solution BTW, just all I have

I think I solved it

I need to uncheck use discrete tweener mousing over gave me the answer

aww I all sad now

I spent last night running a series of awesome sims on multi layers of clothes and hair

had to go to church so shut down my PC after saving it

now cannot open it!

the vwd work on j&j?

Yes - VWD works with J and J. And, you can create a custom body morph for G3 in Studio and it will show up and work on J or J in Carrara.
