Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 10:00 pm)
Can't read any of the values with the screengrab reduced that small.
Firefly (Pro2014GameDev) won't acknowledge PNG's alpha. It seems to be defaulting to a black background in the image map preview window. You might get decent results by plugging it into transparency, with falloff set to zero, and be sure to set specular value to zero, or at least restrict the specular with the transmap.
If the trees aren't sufficiently opaque, some math nodes can exaggerate the lightness of the trees and/or the darkness of the alpha.
edit: cross-posted :)

Firefly does not respect PNG alpha.
Kill the specular (set to zero) or limit it with the image map.
You might try some math nodes to use the image map as a transmap:

I have spent most of the morning trying to find the answer to this. How do I use a .png file with a transparent background on a 1 sided plane in Poser Pro Game Dev 10.0.5.30556? I could not figure it out. Shouldn't this be possible?
