Hi there i just recently purchased Poser 11 because i am going to start creating Adult Content , and i am watching tutorials trying to learn things but i am finding it hard to install things into my runtime folder

i am trying to download - https://www.sharecg.com/v/42779/view/5/3D-Model/A-new-genital-prop-for-V4-A4-G4-S4-L3

If someone could give me a hand with this it would be greatly appreciated .

I Did as the readme had said and exported the folder to a alternate folder that wasnt the runtime , then manually moved the files into what i think is the runtime for poser 11 , C:Runtime , i havent been able to find a Poser 11 folder in my program files , i am using Win 10 by the way . And before anyone asks i do not have any additional content like Victoria 4 or things like that , if that is something i need please explain so i know for future reference

Never move anything into the Poser runtime. You will confuse the heck out of yourself and make upgrades difficult.

Deploy non-SM content in non-SM external runtimes.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Hello

C:runtime is not the usual place for the Poser 11 runtime, which is partly why you can't find the item FROM within Poser 11. Furthermore, Poser needs Runtime to be in a parent folder...C:AdultContentRuntime is a valid option.

Once you have a Valid runtime you can tell Poser 11 where to find it. To do this

  1. Open Poser
  2. in the Library panel find the Plus button
  3. button.PNG
  4. Navigate to the folder just above Runtime, e.g. Adult Content.
  5. Click OK.

Judging solely from the name of the item, you WILL need V4 from DAZ to use the prop.

Please note, you generally cannot use other people's items to create content to sell.

Good luck and happy Rendering.

Andy!

Yes you need V4 for that unless you want a disembodied part - the "for V4 ..." in the title is shorthand for the savvy. The Poser community tends to abbreviate like crazy.

note: cross-posted - did not intend to repeat info

Hello, this is Karina. I'm the creator of the KarinaVagina (or: "KV" for short).

As the headline at ShareCG says, it is intended for use with "V4-A4-G4-S4-L3" (which translates to: Victoria4, Aiko4, Girl4, Stephanie4, Laura4 - all of them DAZ figures which work in Poser).

You must own at least one of these figures to make the KV work on it automatically. If you don't have any of these, there's still the option of loading the prop separately (look in the "Props" folder!)

You can then load the separate prop, create a genital crease in your figure of choice (some people even got it to work with Genesis!), parent the prop to the hip, aqnd then adjust it until it fits.

Re. the placing of the folders & files in your runtime:

What "donnena" and "bagginsbill" said: You need a separate runtime where you install all your stuff, or you'll run into endless problems, esp. with Windows7 and above! Create your separate runtimes on another drive_ (not "C:" which is the worst of all options!)_, and merge that runtime as described.

Like this the KV will work as intended. If you still have problems - ask!

Karina
