Re: Order #113009697

Can't download my purchases.

They appear to start downloading, but then quickly truncate.

I get this message you see in the attached JPEG's.

I'm not a new customer and I've never had this issue with you before.

Hi,

What browser are you using? This popped up several times with firefox users. I use Google Chrome and cannot replicate the issue.

Thanks for your reply, Preston.

Yes, I am using Firefox, but I have never had this issue before and I've purchased & downloaded many products here.

I'll try again. If it doesn't work, then I'll give IE or Chrome a go.

Thanks, again, Preston.

I used Internet Explorer and received the downloads just fine.

Again, this is the first time I have ever encountered this problem when using Firefox at Rendo.

Preston,

The second URL you referred me to had the solution.

Under the settings for Firefox, click on "Options" and then on "Security".

You want to uncheck the box next to "Warn me about unwanted and uncommon software".

And that solves the problem.

I just re-downloaded the products with Firefox and they both came through just fine. Also, scanning the downloaded files with Avast and Malwarebytes indicated that they were clean.

Thanks for steering me to those two sites, Preston.

I can only presume that a Firefox update somehow changed that setting.

best, Dave
