Subject: how important is sRGB to our renders?

MistyLaraCarrara ( ) posted Sat, 08 April 2017 at 4:50 PM · edited Thu, 09 January 2025 at 6:25 AM

i went through the cleartype wizard.

and the wizard with lines, the dots blending. does that mean my sRGB is set?

on my hdmi and displayport monitors, i think i've made a nice render, then i upload it and it's dark with flattened contrast.

i'm tempted to run it through PSE before u/l and do the auo-contrast,

the sRGB seems missing part of the puzzle,

should i be embedding it somehow, or is that what the gamma correction is doing?

🐵

thanks!
