I was thinking about SuzyQ2 when I first got my eyes on her in the official Poser forum. Put Roger-Rabbit's lady and SuzyQ2 in a mixer and out comes Maisi. LOL.

To address some of the questions so far:

Helos ... good catch. One of the earliest requests that Nerd had for Maisie was to update his Aiko 3 Hex outfit. We refit it to Maisie and added a TON of new Superfly-compatible shaders. It's been REALLY difficult keeping her quiet after watching the "Ghost in the Shell" render thread. ;-)

estherau - Not only fully weight mapped, but also incorporates all of the Poser 11 features like face control chips and smooth translation zones that allow you to translate body parts without distortion. You want a gumby figure? You got one. Stretch Armstrong? You got it. Wavy arms ... I mean REALLY wavy? You can make it happen. She is wickedly fun to play with.

When will it be released? Soon. I mean really soon. As in ... 8 more days. With lots and lots and lots of wonderful vendor support.

Will there be a male? The male counterpart is under discussion at the moment, we've been tied up with getting things ready for Maisie's release. No estimated date on the male availability, but we do hope to release one. We need a brief break to recover from this round. ;-)

Well ... almost. Red Hot is more like Roger's lady. 8-)

So, since she has a lot of Poser 11 tech, will she only be usable in P11? Or will she be usable in P10 but without some of the bells and whistles?

DreaminGirl, she will work in P10, but as you suspect does have some feature limitations. Mainly, P10 users won't have the face control chips as easily accessible, you'll have to select them from the menus in the Current Actor or Parameters palette. Secondly, the facial features and body parts use "smooth translation zones" that allow you to stretch and reposition body parts and the facial control chips. For example, smooth translation can be used in the eyelid controls to lengthen and shorten the eyelashes. So any content (characters or poses) that use smooth translation to stretch body parts may not look exactly as intended. Then, of course, P10 doesn't have SuperFly, but Firefly materials are also included for content as well.

Those are the major issues. You'll have a lot more fun with her in P11 to be sure, but she will work in P10. All bets are off for P9 and earlier ... some got her to load in P9 but with major issues, others couldn't get her to load at all because P9 crashed and burned. And P8 and earlier don't support weight mapping.

I love Tink!

I also use your MyLantern props with Tink. I add an unseen IDL emitter and aura for Firefly; in Superfly, I give the flame LightPath lightcasting boost and add an aura.

that fairy is very sweet! Love the candle light too. Great render. Looking forward to seeing more renders.

Oooooooh we have had lots of requests for a Maisie BF! We've done some work but not a lot, because we were consumed with Maisie's release. I can't give you a definite as to when, but we do hope to get there eventually! 8-)

For now, she can hang out with the Dude, who just reappeared at Hivewire.

So happy to hear there is a BF in the works for her in the future!! I have the Dude! He will work! Thank you!
