Hi Everyone -

I would like to know what it is you like/love about Renderosity? I know what we need to improve and I have been working down the list.

I would like to know what our strengths are 🙂

I love Renderosity because not only can you find 3d content for both Poser and Daz, but also you can find a wide variety of 2d items too, such as backgrounds, png file, psds, photoshop brushes, photoshop styles..and the list goes on!

I also love the galleries which gives ideas and inspiration.

Then there are the tutorials! So much to learn from!

And the forums you can use to post problems you may have from a certain software and there is usually someone there who can give you suggestions to help you.

Renderosity has a ton of stuff for everyone!

I personally like seeing the art other people make with their 3D/2D software, so I guess the Galleries are my favourite part of the site.

Can I read notes?  Hell, there ain't no notes to a banjo. You just play it.

The loyalty of the major share of members IMO

Renderosity was the first Art Site I joined when I first started this journey into Digital Art, joined, left for a period of time then came back in 2006. I was a Moderator for Fractals for a couple of years then became disillusioned with the direction Rendo was going and the major site changes going on Quit as Mod and was tempted to leave again but I didn't. I just shut up and watched, it wasn't the site changes so much as the Hierarchy and over time that began to change from the "Our way or the Highway" attitude to a Hierarchy more attuned to the wants and needs of the membership. Many members voiced the same opinion and talked about leaving, some did most like myself didn't, Loyalty it's the Members that make the site.

Loyalty of the Membership is Rendo's Strong point....just ask the TRUMPster about Loyalty 😲😜

Remember...No matter where you go there you are

Hi,

I like that usually you can post something looking for help or trying to help someone else and not get ridiculed for it. (with a few exceptions of course, but minimal)

People seem helpful and friendly here which is a nice thing to have as there is quite a bit of knowledge among the members and staff.

I have found the range of items available here to be more diverse. All models do not look the same thankfully.

I love it because I've been a member (almost) since I got into 3d art with Bryce and then Poser, and I found it to be a very good resource for a newbie like me. I don't use Poser nor Bryce anymore as primary tools (well, don't use Bryce at all), but I still like to see new Poser stuff and help those who use different tools, whenever I get the chance.

It feels "home"!

That covers all I guess! 😃

  1. Lots of new, high quality, affordable Poser format products which I use in Carrara. I've had problems with DAZ Studio formats and no longer even look at them.

  2. The "My Account" and "Wishlist" features work well, e.g. "Item List" allows sorts and searches that make it easy to find something.

I consider Renderosity as one of the more reliable and professionally-managed stores among those that have been around for more than a decade. Generally, quality control is high and customer response is satisfactory.

I like the conservative policy of your website. You do not change the model numbers and I can easily find even very old models by the "mask" of the address: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=xxxxx (Where xxxxx is the model number). For example, I found the oldest model on your site and the model is still on sale. Renderosity - 00026 - PhilC - Hi Shos https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=26

Your site is an open encyclopedia, such as Wikipedia, but only for 3D modeling, animation and artistic creation. This is a whole historical era and you managed to keep everything without serious changes. You can change the design of the site, but you must save the basic structure and model numbers for future users.

Thank you very much for your website.

On the whole it's the general maturity of the site I like. I don't have to wade through endless drawings of 'My Little Pony' or 'Pikachu'. The site feels more oriented toward the adult art hobbyist.

Freebies and galleries and of course products. I wish I could work more serious.

since May 2003 when I joined, there has been ups and downs. for the most part it has been and continues to be a positive experience to share art and enjoy others art.

except for the trend of vendors not providing Poser content like in the past, I still find things to purchase. thanks for those vendors that has not forgot the poser people and even Victoria 4. I realize that the vendors sales provide the main income for many and making content that draws the most sales makes sense. however to forget those members that has supported them for years tends to leave a void.

Over all, Renderosity is an awesome poser site, well and studio

I would say I like the galleries, the number of products available and programs like prime.

But there is a whole list of negatives that I find very frustrating.

1 . Using the market place is frustrating.

  1. The design of this site does not take into account most people nowadays have wide and at least FHD montiors (1920x1080 or higher). There are wide gap on both side when you see the site in full screen mode. And space is being wasted that easily can be used to either show more content or bigger image size.

  2. The mobile version of this site is simply horrible.

  3. You cannot comment on responses to a comment like in other sites. No notification given if someone responds to a comment one leaves behind.

  4. Can we have broad filters for 3D / Photography / Drawings ? E.g. I come to this site for 3D artwork and am not interested to see the photographs posted. Can a filter be added so that I can remove them from the gallery listing so that it becomes easier for me to see and comment on other artist's 3D artwork ? Nowadays there is so much uploads that it is hard to see and comment on all the uploads. Filtering thing we are not interested in will help us to quickly see what we are interested in and comment on them.

I am actually about to create some mock ups of how I want Renderosity to be with a nice and clean design. I will share these mock ups once I am done.

The galleries often have a sense of community and supportiveness that I don't see elsewhere and I feel that vendors tend to be more approachable here than at competing sites - even if they sell their wares in more than one site. Those are my favorite things about the site.

KristiS ( ) posted Thu, 27 July 2017 at 2:32 PM

Thank you very much mightymysterio for sharing your thoughts with us. I am very happy you feel this way.

We are always trying to better the site so if there is ever anything we do to make things better, please contact me and let me know 😄
