Subject: coupon assistance

I made a purchase today of several items. I tried to use the summer sale coupon and received no discounts. Then I tried my prime membership coupon and also received no discounts. Both schoolgirl crush and paradise hair list that they accept coupons on their product page. Why were neither of my coupons deducted from my purchase? What items are prime coupons good for?

I can appreciate vendors setting the price for their products. However, this is the third time I've tried to use sale coupons and none of the products honored the sale or my prime coupon. If the prime coupon isn't going to be honored then its hard to justify the cost of the membership. Also, advertising general sales when all the vendors I've tried to purchase from don't participate is getting to the point where I don't pay attention to a sale anymore. A bit misleading to say save 15% when none of the items purchased accept the coupon.

No coupons are good on prime items. Both of the items mentioned are currently in prime extra discounted sales..those items are 45% off for non-prime members and 55% off for prime members. So you are already getting an extra discount. ๐Ÿ˜„ It's in sales with the prime additional discount have the prime flash sash for the length of the sale, and do not accept any additional discount.

Schoolgirl crush is not a prime item and is at a 25% discount, not 45-55%. The sale price for schoolgirl crush of $9.71 has the eligible for coupons next to it. Why did I not receive a discount on schoolgirl crush then? The other is a prime product so I follow how you say that it wouldn't be a sale item.

Because it is on sale. ๐Ÿ˜„ This weekend's coupon is not good on sale items. Some are, this one is not. ๐Ÿ˜„

Again, schoolgirl crush has the eligible for coupon next to its' sale price. It did not accept the summer sale coupon nor my prime member coupon. So how is it eligible for coupons?

A vendor's store accepts coupons, so they have the green coupon indicator and when the item is not on sale, or in a prime promotion it will take a coupon. ๐Ÿ˜„

Don't think you are following my question. The green accept coupon icon was placed next to the sale price saying that they accepted coupons while the product was on sale. Your reply seems to indicate that this is not the case. If they do not accept coupons when the product is on sale, then the sale price should not indicate that they do accept coupons. This practice is very misleading to the buyer.

I do follow and I do understand. ๐Ÿ˜„ but the item was on sale..and this coupon was NOT good on sale items. So it does not apply to anything on sale. Some coupons ARE good on sale items, this particular one was not.

I also tried my prime coupon and it did not accept it either. What coupons would it accept? Prime provides a monthly coupon but the coupon isn't much help if it isn't accepted.
