Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.
Where computer nerds can Pull out their slide rules and not get laughed at. Pocket protectors are not required. ;-)
This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.
New users are encouraged to read the FAQ sections here and on the Poser forum before asking questions.
I'm pretty sure right now the only way to network render Poser is with other apps that currently support it. Even thought CL has been silent thus far, you can probably expect this to be in P5. It was the biggest addition to Bryce 5 (besides a nice tree lab), so it stands to reason that it will be in the next Poser as well.

Is it Possible, perhaps in a python script or utility to have poser render images/animations over a network? For users with multiple machines this would speed up large animation projects without the expense of purchasing multiple copies of poser. If this is indeed possible in python or if someone could develop a utility that would accomplish this and post it in the marketplace, I would be the first to buy it. Course this may be included in the next version of Poser, but CL havent released any news on the next version of poser.
