Subject: Render problem

LI must be doing something simple wrong but I have a scene in preview, I have set renderer to render preiview but what I get is a close up of the wall. help please and thanks.

reset your camera position ?

You could try adjusting the Hither value of the camera.

Maybe there is some geometry between the camera and the subject being rendered. For example, if the scene is set in an enclosed room the camera might just be outside of the room and rendering the external wall.

This is what I mean about adjusting the hither values of the camera. It changes how far into the scene the camera starts viewing from, and can be used to get a view through something without actually removing that object. As you can see, it seems to let the camera 'cut-through' to see into the scene, and as shown in the bottom of the pics the object (in this case the wall/window) is still casting shadows.
