Hey all. Everytime I set up a figure as cloth and save the decision, This error comes up. Afterwards, VWD will generate all of the draping but will not export back to DAZ Studio. Not sure what to do? Thanks for you thoughts in advance. -DrDrkVWD Reoccurring Error.jpg

Hello DrDrk,

I sent the message to Philippe yesterday. I know he works a lot. He certainly will reply you after the weekend.

I think your issue is an installation problem. We will certainly need to make a tutorial to explain this.

Hi Drakkendark,

The error you have when starting VWD from Studio seems to be caused by an installation issue of the support library. This can be easily checked following those simple steps. In studio, in the help menu, click on "about installed plugins". A window will appear. Somewhere on this list (most probably by the end), there should be an entry for VWD bridge support lib:

If you can't find it, please follow this process:

In the accompanying documentation in the ZIP file you downloaded from Renderosity, there is part called "installing the plugin". It's in this part the problem lays. Maybe there is an issue due how Studio is installed.

Could you please redo the "about plugin action", but this time click on any plugin to have information displayed at the bottom of the windows. It will give you the path where to install the plugin (in the filename field).

In this example, the path is C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/plugins/

The please copy the VWDSupport.dll file from the archive (32 ou 64 bits depending of your version of studio) to this location. To check which version of studio you have, you can click on menu "help" item "about daz studio"

Hope it helps

Philemo
