Unzip to a folder just means, open the zipped file in the compression program of your choice, then tell the program where you want to files to go. Since you're already moving the files manually, the folder you are moving each file into is your destination. The compression program will then put them all there in one operation. There are a lot of excellent file compression programs out there, many of them are free. The free one I use in Windows is called 7Zip. I believe there is a paid one for Mac called Keka.

I saw an earlier thread about "unzipping" a zip file to a folder. How do you do that? I have both a Mac and a Windows PC. I'm new to Windows and have never seen that ability on a Mac. I've been having to move each file manually, drives me crazy! Is it possible on a Mac? Also how do you unzip to a specific folder in Windows? Thanks.
