Subject: Another annoyance in Win 10

The keyboard shortcuts aren't active until you click inside the Display window. Pretty much defeats the point of using the keyboard when you have to use the mouse before you can use the keyboard.

I don't recall this happening in Win 7 or earlier, but it could be that my overall annoyance level is raised by Win 10, where everything takes 10 times as long to do and many things can't be done at all.

There are several shortcuts I always use but until now they work perfect in Poser 11 Pro. Is it for all shortcuts or only some of them?

It seems to be all of the ones I use. Ctrl-R for render, Ctrl-G for ground on, Ctrl-D to move to ground, etc. As long as I don't change the focus to one of the other panels like the Library or Python panel, the keyboard works. But after I use Python, or after I load an item from the Library, or do something in the Hierarchy, I have to click back into the Display panel first.

This may be Poser 11 behavior regardless of Windows version, but I don't recall having my workflow interrupted by this problem before Win 10.

I just tried it on my system with Win 10 and Poser 1Pro, I loaded a figure, the library window (floating) is still open, used EZ3 on the figure, Python window is still open and without any click I used Ctrl + R and the render started.

Here is the screenshot:

Let's see how this developes ... I am on another project right now and can't test it.

It's a problem I find often. Try loading the default Andy scene. Now select something in the library, a single click on a folder will do. I check by now trying control y and no render setting appears. It seems if the library is somehow active the shortcuts don't work. So if the last action I've done involved clicking or double clicking on the library I have to click of something else to then use keyboard shortcut. However this wasn't the case in poser 10.
