Subject: How can i copy the text from photoshop to wordpad?

Copying text from photoshop and paste it into WordPad doesn't work. Can anyone help me with this problem? I am trying to contact adobe photoshop customer support phone number

It works for me. Double click on the "T" icon of your text layer to highlight the text and either go to edit>copy or use the ctrl+c shortcut to copy the text to your clipboard and then paste it into your other document.

Well, I always rasterize any text I add to an image, so I had to select outside the text, invert, and then copy/paste to Word, and it worked nicely.

It doesn't work with a plain text editor, which would be my first choice, but in this instance, it's good to know it can be done with Word. Thanks for the tip Keppel.

The reason why you can only copy/paste the selected rasterized text into Word and not a text editor is that it's an image not editable text.
