Its been where gonna update you for ages now.

There was a recent announcement from the owners (can't remember where I saw that) that they planned to publish the site again in the fourth quarter of this year. As I understand it, the E-On Software was sold to Bentley in 2015, but the original owners retained Cornucopia3D. It will probably come with completely new vendors for 3D models, with the initial set being freelance hires by the owners. Not sure what will be the status of plant makers like "RealmsArts", who is now operating independently under a different name. I am not a "Facebooker," but I know that Tony ("RealmsArts") and some of the other plant makers have active pages there. Perhaps you can find out more there if you have a Facebook account.

As one of the original vendors there, I am slowly putting all my old, but now updated models here. Clark Cook is doing the same. Some of the original 3d model vendors are starting to migrate here as well - we like the Renderosity staff and management very much.

Minor note: Clark and I collaborated on many model sets on C3D under the name "Buzz and Woody", as well as under our own names. Here, we're probably just going to put out some 400 models sets under the name "Forester" as a Rendo Exclusive vendor. No plans to go back to C3D - as it's future is uncertain. (All model sets upgraded to fit with the latest version of Vue, as well as backward compatible to Vue Version 9. Let us know if you want anything special.) But it may be that someone here is an old mod on C3D and has better insight as to the long-term plans for C3D. ??????????????????

Thank you for sharing your vendor information. It is very much appreciated. Since my system crashed earlier this year ... I had lost all my products from C3D. BUT, the contact at Bentley got me all my purchases from the original C3D. Just wanted anyone to know it is possible. They are working hard to get things back up. The hack was devastating, but they are making sure they have great security this time around.

Hi guys, the store being down is not good for any of us, but we know that! Work is continuing on the new e-commerce platform with the main site being the priority as this forms the foundation of the asset store. As ever when it comes to software problems and pitfalls have beset us from all directions BUT progress is being made. The hack gave us a load of lemons and we are trying to make lemonade! Lol With the advent of GDPR it was actually good timing and gives us, as Boni says (Hi Boni! :) ) the opportunity to revamp everything. The store will be back!

Also, just for the record this:" It will probably come with completely new vendors for 3D models, with the initial set being freelance hires by the owners." will NOT be happening. All our old vendors will be back and even those who have left us in the past are welcome to come home. 😄

In the lingo means copernica will have no records of your purchases so you will be stuffed. Fancy not backing up peoples purchases.

Maybe, maybe not. Too early to be so pessimistic.

It is great to hear that the old vendors will be active on the New Cornucopia3d. There are so any talented plant, landscape and atmosphere makers that were vendors there. This is very good news, indeed!

The store did not and will not re-open, the good news is however your purchases are backed up and can be retrieved by dropping a request via the E-on website: https://info.e-onsoftware.com/home

No longer a problem as I dumped Vue once they went subscriber based.

Its a bit of a bandaid pull but its the only way they will learn.
