which one should i buy? Are there significant differences? what would yourecommend?

On Smith Micro site, they have a comparison chart. Then YOU decide which one YOU should buy based on YOUR needs or wants.

Depends what you want to use it for. If for comics and graphic novels, then it would have to be Poser 11. For which you wouldn't necessarily need Pro.
