Is it possible to get photo realistic renders with Poser Pro 2014? I have Reality 3d but with upgrades to OSX and Poser, the program just doesn't work anymore which is a shame as it gave some really quality renders. Now I'm stuck trying to get Poser to do something close with no luck. Should I upgrade to Poser Pro 11 or is there something else. I've dabbled a little with Daz Studio but the learning curve there is more time then I currently have. Suggestions?

A lot of renders in the Gallery are with 2014. I guess you are the one to decide if they are photo realistic enough.

You say that with your OSX upgrades that your Poser just doesn't work anymore? What Poser version doesn't work anymore? And "trying to get Poser to do something close.." ? Not sure what that means?

Does Poser work at all for you? Some folk here say that Poser11 is better. Others don't. I'd check the messages and look at the Galleries.

PoserPro11 has been working fine for me on OSX right though from Yosemite to Mojave (the current OS). Only flaw in Mojave is that 'recent renders' are not listed in the correct order, but randomly.

Guys, he didn't say that poser didn't work, he said reality didn't work. It's a bridge from poser to luxrenderer. He may think about contacting the creator about that at preta3d.

As far as realistic renders, some people have been able to get close with firefly. It depends on how good you are with the material room and with lighting. IMHO Superfly is easier but not everyone feels that way. It takes longer to render than firefly, but not as bad as luxrenderer.
