Subject: My imported obj has no shadows on it?

I asked this before but have forgotten the answer, and I don't know how to find my posts on the forums. So I must ask again. My lights have shadows turned on. Other objects and figures show shadows on them from each other but my imported wall object.(.obj) does not show any shadows on it and they should be there. What could the problem be? OSX El Capitan Ver 10.11.6 Thank you.

Check to make sure the ambient value is set at 0.

Solved my normals were reversed.. Did not notice in my modeler software I had the view set to light both sides. Thanks.
