i see no buttons that says add anything, whether upload, or links

When you click on 'Galleries' on the main bar at the top of the page, you'll get a dropdown bar with a button for 'Upload Your Art' in the middle of the first menu. It will upload to your gallery.

Unless the rules have changed, regular members can upload one image per day. You get to upload more if you're a vendor, Prime member, that sort of thing.
