Subject: Queue Manager Files taking up drive space

BatmansRenderosity ( ) posted Thu, 21 February 2019 at 3:03 AM · edited Tue, 19 November 2024 at 9:48 PM

I have my original Poser work files in a folder but when I use QM, a whole ton of new files appear. I take it I can delete all of these after the renders are done and if I need to render again I can just open my main work files and start a new QM again?

Yes, those files can be deleted once the render is done. I think they should be deleted automatically once the queue manager finishes, but that's just me.

Thanks. That option would be great.

BTW I just did it and went from 13.8 GB free to 29.5 GB free.

Not deleting those would be the difference between me buying a new drive now or waiting until later when they are cheaper.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I also delete auto save files after I’m done with a project. Though I do that with caution in case I have to go back to a scene

Thanks for the info. I just started using Render Queue yesterday and was wondering the same thing.
