There's a new ShareCG freebie "Poser - Export Poser Cameras and Lights". I don't think Renderosity allows Web links to that site these days, but if you Google it then you'll get to it. It exports Poser scene camera co-ordinates in XML. Might be useful. Maybe you could get a coder to make it 'talk' to a Vue Python script in Vue 2016?

The FBX, Alembic or Collada file formats can store camera information, by using export with those formats in Poser, you will get a selection dialog window to select the cameras available ... So Vue can import Alembic (.abc) and Collada (.dae), but not FBX (*.fbx). Vue will load the objects, but probably will ignore camera infos in those files. Still could be tested. Just to mention - Vue works great with the Collada file format - for instance, saving objects like figures and loading them into Vue - those are very good and easy to handle for re-posing them in Vue ...

Greetings!
It has been a while since I seriously tried this in Vue, so I wanted to check and see if anyone else had stumbled upon a way to make this work. Is there any way in which to import the camera from Poser or Modo into Vue at all?
So far none of the export/import file formats I've tried have included the cameras. I've tried manually syncing up the positions and rotations, but something about how they handle the focal length between the different software is throwing things off, and I can't tell if what I'm seeing is a bug or just how things work. It would be so awesome if I could just directly import the cameras!!
Any ideas on how to get this working? Thanks for any help or input at all!
