Here's a project I been working on. I want to make this a dynamic clothing of just the Ruffled Top and Sarong. What do you guys think? Using antje's Retro Textures and TrekkieGirl's PE Flats fitted for LF.

And ...... She smiles. This was difficult. A smile is a major distortion of the face. Don't attempt this with face chips ! I've remodeled the upper teeth a bit. The superfly teeth shader is courtesy of BagginsBill. For fun, I did a spot of color correcting in Photoshop.

I've been taking a break. There is no major demand for the figure anyway. Also, I find if you spend too much time on the figure, you can't see the wood for the trees, and i always see something new when coming back to it after a break. I can't finalise the smile before I have an agreed base. I have made adjustments to the base. Please be patient - it is coming.

I am of a mind to try a project using her. Initially, concept images. Eventually, perhaps, a comic. I find a project forces me to learn more.

One character is a young skater. She's coming together. I still have a lot to learn but I think La Femme will work nicely. The most difficult part in this setup was getting the friggin' bracelets to look like there is actually such a thing as gravity. The outfit is nothing like what the character will eventually wear but I needed something that looked ok, for now.

This might be a good time to mention... I'll also need a La Dude for this project. Just putting that out there ^.^

As a skater, she wouldn't be "ripped gymnast" or beefy bicyclist. Also, the character, as far as she thinks her mom thinks (sort that one out :D ) is "proper schoolgirl" but that's just her "secret identity" pro thrasher and alt-metal is her passion. Based on a book character (the more dramatic aspects, of course) and real person. Kind of a near-future "mistopia" world. (Ooh, my espresso gelato is ready. machine go "ding!")

Why not sculpt La Femme into La Dude? You could do it in Poser, using the given morphs and the Poser Morph Brush Tool. From BH's morphs he obviously could have muscles. You could add body and facial hair to femme skin maps.

Actually, for LaFemme and Poser health, perhaps that works well? I've gone way in on LaFemme (financially) more than any previous figure since v4. As I get used to her, and using Poser 11 in ways I never did before, I'm really having a blast. Every day or two I run "la femme" in the rendo market search. Purchases follow closely along :)

She's really great. I'm just "overly sensitive" to really thin teens as my daughter developed an eating disorder when her Dad died suddenly.

She's an adorable character and you've done really good work with La Femme.

I think I remember hearing a male version of LaFemme is coming as well. If she's going to be the official female figure for Poser, she needs a male counterpart.

I did it to the best of my doing. I've put my Dynamic Ruffled Top and Sarong Set at ShareCG for all to have for the 3D/Poser community. I hope you all like it for LaFemme. Thanks, guys for all your help and comments.

Those working part scales really give a lot of flexibility to the mesh.

I had to postpone Lolita Dress a bit, because I ran into a problem with it that I'll need lots of patience to tackle.

Probably not the most flattering face angle, but I'm sorting out her mouth, and seeing if extreme poses throws out any problems - it did. More corrections. A number of artists have rendered La Femme with a cunning hand covering the mouth. With good reason. So the idea is to sort out any problems so guys can render close ups of face without fear.(Not talking about Afrodite's pose above !) As well as changing the mouth area I have also adjusted La Femme's teeth so they look more natural. She is sporting Blackhearted's HD morphs on her hand. Anyway that's it for a while - need to sort out a smile for the new face shape and get the injection files working. If you have and constructive ideas - let me know.

LMAO! I guarantee it wasn't intentional. I have a pose set I made years ago for V4, that I ported into every figure I worked with after that and I'm now porting into La Femme, and that's one of the poses that would allow me to show the bracelet in a close up.

Anyway, I'm curious about what problem you found in La Femme's mouth! I haven't noticed anything strange.
