Happy times at Chez Therapy... my kids are great but sometimes they can be a trial. This really happened, btw.

Sam was 4, Ilona was 3.

Sam: WAAAAH!! She swallowed my marble!

Ilona: WAAAAH!!! I swallowed a marble!

Me: Well, don't worry, it'll come out the other end... eventually.

Sam and Ilona: WAAAAH!!!

short pause...

Sam: Daddy, can't we take her to the hospital? They can cut her open and take it out.

Ilona: WAAAAAAAH!!!!

Claire: No, we can't. Just be patient. It'll come out. Now be quiet, Sam. You're not helping.

Sam and Ilona: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Epilogue: It did come out, eventually. And was thoroughly cleaned before being returned to Sam, who then lectured Ilona on why she shouldn't eat marbles.
