I notice in Renderosity Market Place there is a version of La Femme listed as IR1. Since I already owned La Femme I went to My Orders and found updates. If this has already been posted please ignore! . Cheers

Yep, she is updated. I downloaded her, but I haven't installed it yet.

Yes. She was updated this morning. An email was sent out to all buyers. The product has been marked as updated and the NEW files are available to all who have her in their account. Enjoy!

I noticed she was updated to NOT FREE. I also noticed that in spite of having a Renderosity account for 20 years, I was unable to go through checkout WHILE she was free. But you know what they say. "You can't go home again."

Yes, just overwrite. You'll have both La Femme 1 and La Femme 1.1 when you're done.

There is a minimum purchase you have to make before you can get her free. I think it's $3.50 or something like that.

As of today, with the release of La Femme 1.1 she is no longer free. Though she is on 50% discount right now.

For purchase FREE. No. But she IS in the package with La Femme 1.1

Think of LaFemme 1R1 as a "service release" ... it's the original LaFemme with some improvements and additions. That's basically it.

I have already installed her and checked out some of the new features. I am happy with her.

I've downloaded her, but haven't had a chance to install her update, and check her out. Of course, there's always tomorrow.

You should have said something. They were getting around the minimum purchase requirement by asking people who did make purchases to "gift" her to those who couldn't or didn't want to buy anything else.

Something to keep in mind should a similar situation arise in the future.

They have every right to charge what they want. The figure was a loss leader so they could make more on the clothes and accessories. If you are trying to build a new customer base, it's probably not a good idea to dampen demand by raising the price at this stage.

We should keep in mind that anything that is for free in the Renderosity STORE means "free with a purchase". There's a minimum purchase of US3.50 for the store system in Renderosity to work - it's been like this ever since I can remember. If they'd put her in the freestuff, she wouldn't have nearly as much exposure and place to detail her features (not to mention extra promo images). Besides, she's always been meant to go not-free after a while, from what I understand - the free value was promotional.

They simply decided to start charging for her after this update was out. Her price in the store was a number dashed out into zero from day one, so I always knew she was going to be paid eventually.

Anyway...back to the OP's posting, what was actually updated, fixed, added,serviced on LaFemme ?

The Femme Fatale HD Morphs and La Femme Body Kit MR have popped to the top of the Marketplace. Does that mean they've been updated, too, and I should re-download them?

The LaFemme 1R1 update comes with two high resolution DEV kits that help make it easier and faster to develop LaFemme content.

Femme Fatale and the Body Kit MR have been updated with injection poses for the HR dev kits. When you use the HR Dev kits to rig and transfer morphs they are much cleaner and smoother than using the base resolution LaFemme and require far less cleanup when you transfer the morphs to your clothing.

The updates are listed as seperate files in the downloads, so if you did decide you want them you just have to download those files, not the whole thing again.

It's not the downloading that's the issue. It's searching my purchase history to find the order. I, um...buy a lot. :-)

On your account page click on purchased items to get a list of items you have purchased, after it loads click the box with the up/down arrows that says all items and select updated as sorting order. That should move them to the top of the list.

hey, randym77, there are some changes to La Femme that you might want to use. Specifically, some of the things users wanted to see changed, like:

• Face Morph Changes

• Expressions: Mouth Open, SmileWide and SmileSoft (formerly in mouth injections) have been moved to base La Femme 1.1

• Mouth Morphs added: Dentals Down-Up, Dentals Fwd-Back, Dentals Smaller, Teeth Expand

• Eye Morphs added: Iris Flat

• Body Morph Changes:

• Hand Morphs: Added GM Thumb Morph and GM FingerMorphs (special thanks to Ghostman for this contribution)

• Body Fixes: Added underarm morphs to fix arms down when sleeveless clothing is used.
