Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Thanks Moonbiter !!!!! Do you still have any info on how to contact the magazine about the special offer ?. Please I'd be very grateful if I could obtain it. I remember having all that info myself, but I gave the magazine away a long time ago. Anyway, I even doubt if that offer still exists. However, I wouldn't mind contacting them again. So please hook me up with any info if you can :-) !!!!! Ofcourse the next option, like you said, is to purchase the the full version 4. It's "way, way " worth the money. I just wanted to be sure of all other options before handing over those dollar bills :-) !!! Thanxxxx again and keep on posering !!!
That's where I got my copy of Poser 3 from. I bought the upgrade to 4 from Upgrades Unlimited as I am in the UK and that's where they suggested you get it from, but any upgrades should work on it as the copy on the magazine was a full version of Poser 3.

Hi! From Curious here...this is the email response we send: You are requesting an upgrade or a serial number that was only available through the special offer in the UK magazine 3D World. The upgrade offer has expired and was fulfilled only through Computers Unlimited in the UK. This offer was exclusive to the UK and expired on November 30, 2000. For serial number information call Computers Unlimited at +44 (0) 808 100 3303 or see page 103 in the magazine. If you are interested in purchasing a full version please visit www.curiouslabs.com If you have a non-magazine cover edition of Poser 3 with the serial number, you can upgrade in the online store on our website at www.curiouslabs.com.Ike, If you use a credit card you can contact Upgrades Unlimited in the UK and purchase the special upgrade from them. I'm not sure if the special price is still available or not but way back when it first came out I did it that way. Surprisingly the "upgrade" was the complete version 4 box, not just an upgrade disk. mike

Hi Steve ( or anybody else please :-) ), I've posted this question before, but didn't get much feed back. I'd like to use this opportunity to humbly ask again.... I currently own a free 3D World Magazine copy of Poser 3. Can I upgrade this to Poser 4? I am in the middle of a production at the moment and the current version 4 features would greatly improve the final product. Please, your speedy reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much :-) !!!!!
