Subject: Would like to restore Superfly render presets.

infoman9 ( ) posted Sun, 16 June 2019 at 9:09 PM · edited Sun, 01 December 2024 at 3:09 AM

I have Poser Pro 11 but am far from a Pro. Somehow I overwrote the default Superfly render presets. ie. Default, Fast Preview, GPU Extreme High Quality, GPU High Quality, etc. Is there an easy way to revert them all back the way they were when I first installed P11Pro?

Thanks.

I am wondering... try hitting the Restore Defaults button, which is next to the Save Preset button ??

Thanks for the suggestion but that only restores the settings to the wrong ones unfortunately.

You don't say if you're Windows or Mac user.

This may work for Windows.

Open File Explorer Tools drop down and Folder Options... View tab and enable Show Hidden Files and Folders

Navigate to the Users/ yourusername/ Appdata/Roaming/PoserPro/11/Renderpresets folder Any custom Render settings are saved here and possibly your modified default presets. If so then delete one, start poser and see if it works.

For a Mac I can only suggest looking for the PoserPro folder and trying the above

Thanks but the only ones saved there are the custom presets not the modified default ones. Appreciate the info though at least now I know I can delete all those at one time if I want.

I was a wild idea to save some typing. I've just tried to display them in render settings but can't get them listed for a screen grab :(

Thanks for trying. A screenshot will work though I can reenter the settings manually and then save them corrected. I hope.

my defaults are in my P11 program folder: Poser 11/Runtime/prefs/RenderPresets/SuperFly

have you tried launching to factory scene in general prefs? if still no joy maybe you need to reinstall.....

D'oh! Nice find.

Unfortunately forums and messaging don't allow text files to be attached else I'd ZIp them all in one go. I'll copy and paste the text to each one in site mail for you to C+P . I use Notepad ++ for file editing
