Subject: [La Femme] Facial textures Are Not Loading

Hi, I just bought La Femme, and the model won't load facial textures for me. These are the files Poser wants to find, but I cannot see them anywhere: LaFemme-HeadMU1_color LaFemme-EyesBlue_color Are they supposed to be in the Procedural SSS folder? I've tried manually adding files like LFSS-FACEMU1, but they don't match the body texture and look very wrong. Please explain what is happening as if to someone who is absolutely new to Poser. I have some experience with the program, but the QuickStart in the.PDF assumes that everything loads properly, and for me it has not. Obviously there's a gap in my knowledge. Please help! Thanks.

It sounds like you may have not unzipped the LaFemme-1R1-Runtime2_247661 ZIP file, or perhaps it got unzipped to the wrong place. Both of the textures that you mention are in that ZIP file.

I used the Unzip From Archive utility in Poser. Strange that it didn't give me those files. I found them in the download package as you suggest and was able to put them in manually. Thank you for the help and the quick reply!

Although the Poser unzip utility is convenient, it is not the best option to use. It is not very intuitive unless you understand how it thoroughly works. I've used it several times long ago but I find it much more useful to run Winrar instead for content installation.

Okay, now I've had a little time to work the dials. I've installed everything else without issues. While I have your attention, I have to say I am most impressed with the model and especially how LOGICALLY the controls are laid out! It's a treat to set up the basic position and then pick the body part and have its dials right there ready to use, and also have many well-designed handles. Although there is a lot of pose detail, which I appreciate, it's remarkably easy to strike the pose and then dial in the details. I had no idea that I could use Poser and not fight with the UI at every turn. Here's hoping there will be a male version of this model in the future!
