Well I posted this sample render over in Orion's thread, then realized I should have just made this thread. Since folks have been wondering, yes Orion has a female counterpart (like in my signature) named Venus. She is based on Orion's mesh with just enough modifications to her geometry to make her anatomically female. She sits at just over 28K polys at her base level. I've been building them both in tandem but have been focused on finishing Orion lately, because he's the figure I started on to begin with. But I decided to post a few early shots of Venus just so y'all know that there will be a pair. She will morph and scale the same as Orion and they can even share some textures but she is not a morph of Orion, she's her own figure.

And here are a couple others, but with nudity tags cause I tend not to do test renders with clothing, unless I'm working on clothing. And she will have her own hair when she's finished - I just borrowed an old ponytail to fit to her in the previous image.

as has been noted by many at many varying times, shoulders/collars are so difficult to get to look right and work properly, too. i look at these areas, as well as at hands, when i first look at a model, and then my eyes look at the face & ears...

i'm with Boni on her suggestion - looking at both these figures, Venus & Orion, these are/could be/should be the ticket for Poser's future...

She's Venus in no jeans Mona Lisa with a pony tail...

I can honestly say that I've never seen a nicer looking set of figures outside of you-know-who for Poser. Congratulations. You might have done it ;).

I like the attractive yet fairly generic looking face. Good for morphing into other characters.

Very nice indeed...really like her legs, especially her knees...good handling of the suprasternal notch, unlike La Femme's. Hope you can get her into the market and get the needed support for content to make her viable.

I really, really like your figures, very realistic. I like LaFamme too, but she is more stylistic IMO. There is room for both ;)

Both your figures are excellent, the proportions and posing look very natural. I really like Venus's face, the features look perfectly placed and balanced - have you made any expressions yet?

Aside from some basic eye and jaw movement, no not yet. I've been working on Orion's facial rigging. It takes a while to rig and weight paint all those bones especially in a small area like the face. I'll get there tho.
