It does look like it has potential and it is free which is always a good thing

While I already have WIlliamson's Retopo thingie, this does look good - I remember when he was first starting out developing it. And yes, free is always good.
My passion for music has sort-of occupied my time of late - using Musescore (another free tool) a lot these days to write and transcribe music these days - but I will be getting back to Blender at some point. Need to get my head around 2.8, is all.

It is always good to see you around Robyn you have been missed

Thank you, Lobo... very kind words. It must seem odd for me to be looking at music instead of the visual, particularly as we're being given such an amazing upgrade to our favourite software. My first love, however, is video and video requires music and sounds: it just does. Watch Lion King without the sound and you'll appreciate what I mean.
I've been trying my hand at artistic video - nothing I'd want anyone to really see, only just because it might depress the viewer, although a low-quality version is on YouTube - and find without music, the thing simply has no life. Problem is: the sort of music I wish to have in the video is, even if the composer him-(or her-)self lived almost 200 years ago, the performance of the piece was covered by copyright. {{{sigh}}}
What to do?
This is where Musescore came into the picture. I'm not clever enough to work an actual DAW (digital audio workstation) but Musescore? not a problem. And the "performance" is quite good! certainly good enough for my humble little video efforts.
So, I'm transcribing pieces I want to have in my videos into Musescore, a very involved, laborious work, but incredibly rewarding.

Hi Robyn
I fully understand your mean and creativity comes to us in so many forms and your desire to add music to your skills I think is great. Recently found a new tutor creator named Curtis Holt and he has been doing some unique things with Blender and one is involving music maybe it will give you further inspiration
Audio Visualization with Modifiers in Blender 2.8
His channel is worth subscribing to

Wow, Curtis doesn't sort-of muck around much, does he? gets straight to it. Wish more videos were as clear, condensed and quick as his are.
Thanks for the link, Lobo: that's a really neat feature of Blender I never would have thought existed!

I normally do not recommend Blender Add-ons unless they are ones already built into Blender by default or I have vigorously used but this one might be worth keeping an eye on
Add-on: Mira Tools 3 - modern modeling and retopology tools
