Subject: maximum number of activations exceeded

iMac 27in late 2015. Got a new SSD HD. PP 2014 will not run. It tells me maximum number of activations for this license has been exceeded. So I started up from my old drive and PP2014 worked fine. I deactivated it from the menu. Thinking that would free up a spot. Started up on the SSD. PP2014 still won't work. Same message. If I choose a different method when adding se. no., I get this message. 'The grace period for activating this product has expired! This app will now revert to unregistered status until it is activated. Insert your se. no. when prompted to activate the app.' This keeps looping depending how I add the se. no. name, email... I don't know what's going on here or how to fix it. Help ASAP.

I suspect this is a problem caused by Poser being sold to Renderosity. The old license server is probably no more.

Try putting in a ticket:

This is not connected to the sale of Poser. There is a limit of 3 activations allowed at one time. Deactivating it on your computer usually will solve the problem but it doesn't always work. You need to put in a support ticket and ask if they can remove one of the activations.
