Subject: areaLite.obj missing? Where is this?

davo ( ) posted Tue, 17 September 2019 at 7:30 PM · edited Mon, 03 February 2025 at 10:41 PM

For some reason, after running steadily for months, when i start up Poser Pro 11 or start a new scene, I get missing files. First it was the Construct.obz (which I got rid of by deleting the ground plane in heir editor and saving the preference), and now it's the areaLite.obj. Why is this happening? The files should be in the geometies/lights folder, but they aren't. This hasn't happened before. Any help is appreciated, Cheers, Davo

I did run a registry cleaner, my library search is set to deep. Still no luck.

Thing is, when I do a search for those missing files, they aren't on my hard drive, even my backed up installation doesn't have them.

My areaLite file is in obz format and it should be found in Poser 11 content runtime.

This is looking specifically for areaLite.obj

I just re-installed the program, seems to be working fine now.

The Registry cleaning program I used broke did the same to my install. Reinstall fixed it for me, as well.
