Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 1:16 pm)
Actually Rob, the OP is talking about User/YourName/Documents, or on my computer it's My Documents. I had the same thing with PP11 when I first got it, but it didn't do it this time, mostly because I'm set up to use the External Library, which I view through my browser. I think what I did when it did happen, was to rename it slightly so Poser didn't recognize it, though I don't recall what I called it.

Well, I was able to fix it by re-installing without keeping my old preferences. It could be that the empty default runtime was there from a previous installation, and I just never noticed it was empty because I didn't use the content that came with Poser...until now. :-)
IMO, you should be able to remove the default runtime, and it definitely shouldn't respawn itself if you delete it.
Well, I just checked again, and I do still have the folder in question, and what I did was renamed it to all one word (without spaces), and added a number to it. IOW, I renamed it Poser11Content-2. It hasn't been updated since November 2015, when I first installed PP11.

Upgrade went smoothly. The only problem is Poser spawns a default runtime called Poser 11 Content in C: Users Documents, etc. It's empty, because I set Poser's default runtime to an external drive.
So I can't add the "real" runtime, with actual content, I assume because the name is the same. I get "runtime is already added."
I assume I could fix this by renaming the "real" runtime and adding it...but it's kind of annoying have an empty runtime stuck at the top of my library. I can't remove it. If I delete the empty runtime, Poser re-spawns it.
Is there anyway to get rid of it for good?
