I keep getting to around 253 gb of the download before getting a failed notice. Is the server overloaded or is it me?

253 GIGs? That is a bit excessive. Poser 11. exe is around 1.2 gigs total and the Support exe is around 293 Megs. Even if you add the content files it should not be that much.

well I know in this age we need precision, but I'm never precise and don't pay much attention to details but so it is stopping around 243 or 254 k.

the support file downloaded easily enough

That was the smaller one. If the install exe keeps stopping, delete the stalled ones, refresh the page and retry. Hang up downloads are usually caused by connection burps if you don't get any error messages, at least in my experience.

Yay! may it be less painful then the download was for you!

wscottart ( ) posted Sat, 21 September 2019 at 11:23 AM

So does this mean we can trash the smith micro download manager?

Rhia474 ( ) posted Sat, 21 September 2019 at 11:48 AM

Yes,but if you have earlier Poser versions or files at SM, download those to a separate drive or some such, just in case.
