I bought Poser 11 from Smith Micro in November 2015. This morning, trying to start it, I'm getting a bunch of dialogs essentially telling me I can no longer use it unless I buy it again! Screen shots of the dialogs are attached, and I'm happy to forward a copy of the original purchase email to someone at Renderosity if required. I'm not trying to use software I haven't bought and, FYI, this is the same PC I owned when I bought the software as an upgrade from Poser 10 and, as far as I can remember, it's only ever been registered the once. Anyone got any ideas on how I can get my software to work again?![

Hi Martyn, I can understand your frustration, but I strongly suggest you delete your original post and replace it with one which doesn't expose your personal serial numbers to public view.

Your serial numbers will have been migrated to the Bondware licence server, but if you're still running the Smith Micro version of Poser 11, it has no way of knowing that it needs to contact a different licence server. Unfortunately, you must upgrade to Poser 11.2, which has full Pro features at no additional cost.

You can download 11.2 from Poser Software Your existing SM issued serial number should still work to register it. You can't use the Download Manager any more.

I wonder how many other P11 users are out there, all unknowing there's an easy fix for their dead software?

I never saw the message, since I upgraded right away, but it sounds like maybe it should have emphasized the fact that it's a free upgrade more.
