(And specially for Glitterati: for this product, I've switched my Cycles materials for PhysicalSurface materials - all but one that I couldn't mimic, which is the glass heel material which is still a Cycles one. But that's transparent so it being white in preview shouldn't be a problem anyway )

Now I gotta set up her body shape, and make her some eye color options, makeups etc.

I love her eyebrows. I know that's kind of a weird thing to say, but eyebrows make or break the character for me. I like natural-looking brows, so the texture doesn't look dated. (A lot of female characters have these thin, plucked-looking brows, or super-dark, drawn-on looking brows.) A natural brow works for historical characters who wouldn't have worn makeup, fantasy characters who look weird in modern makeup, etc. as well for contemporary characters.

I adore the eyeshape and agree with the natural brow praise. Looking forward to adding her to my palette!

Oh, likewise! Even in real life, I'm not very fond of the current trend of super lined eyebrows.

Yes that's super white. Inspired from kabuki theater + representations of youkai/spirits in japanese cartoons.

(Her eyes for this form will likely be yellow - I haven't made the texture for those yet, so here presented with her default eyes.)

@movida: I'm glad I was able to achieve that! Simplicity seems to be a big thing in japanese art, so I wanted to do it justice.

@Rhia474: Yes, I'd love that too. For now, I had to go looking for kimonos for other figures that I can try to adapt to her for Mayu's promos... I'm still trying to find a suitable hairstyle for the spirit skin.

I've been battling over which way to go ... I am going to experiment with a full blown suit as well. I have most of the textures done, just wanted to make one more color option. But now I want to see if I can pull off turning it into a full-blown body suit. Decisions, decisions. 8-)
