Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 18 5:11 pm)
That's seriously weird.
You have entered the...
Twilight Zone

Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
I tried to recreate the problem but couldn't. I don't normally use the camera hands but the guides at the top of the Poser window. Still it should work the same. I noticed you hither and other parameters changed slightly but not enough to get your values. Does it do that with only that scene? How about other PZ3 files?
Weird behavior does happen. I have some poses that only work partially. They are part of a BOUGHT package from another company similar to this one. It's only one pose out of the package but what it does is pose the clothing at the hip, leaves the figure untouched but nothing else. It only does it with one pose package. So far.
Also, that is a very simple scene. Have you tried recreating it from scratch and see what happens? It might be a one time scene corruption.
Also thanks for the freebies, Ockham! Much appreciated. I always give you a top rating. 5 Stars.
After more usage, this doesn't happen in most scenes. It's just peculiar to that one scene, or maybe the initial placement of the cameras.

No, the original complaint is still valid. Here's the pattern:
Every time I start a new scene, the cameras go crazy on the first adjustment. It's not just the 'hand' controls, a dial adjustment to the dolly parms takes them out to infinity immediately.
When I use a scene that was made in previous versions, the problem doesn't happen at all.

Crikey! The big hitters are out in force here.
Anyhow, I don't know if this is relevant at all but my cameras keep going crazy, as if my mouse is mistracking. The view will suddenly flip upside down, or continue to rotate, as if I have the flyaround camera selected. Tried using different mice, on different surfaces but always with the same result. Poser is the only thing that exhibits this, too. Nothing else misbehaves in the slightest, well, at least when it comes to using a mouse.

Does it happen on every scene or in the default scene. The only other not-content related thing I can think of is IF you're using a tablet and IF you don't have poser's input pref not set to tablet. I vaguely remember seeing this from another cause. I'm going to try to find tthat in the old bug database.
On the bright side if you can control the direction you'd have a stable wormhole. We can explore the other side of the galaxy.

I've never had this happen before. The scene is the bog-standard Ockham stuff. Terrain, building, old gadgetry.
When I start with the main camera inside the house and then pull back just a little bit with the 'hand' camera controls, the camera ends up nowhere. Why is it nowhere? The numbers show what's happening.....
All three dolly directions have gone out to infinity-like numbers!
