USe EasySkin3's Superfly Skin converter as older textures may require some modifications (not always but sometimes). Download it here: http://snarlygribbly.org/poser/
Unzip and study the user guide first to be sure you put things into the right places and follow the how-to, albeit it's rather easy to use.
Also I'd suggest the use of an envirodome so your reflections work properly. Same site has EZDome that works well.
Finally good Superfly lights are essential and ShareCG has a great set by Ghostship if you do a search.

Please forgive my ignorance on this, believe it or not I've never used Superfly for rendering until now and I'm having two issues. I'm sure they've been addressed before but I can't seem to find it. First is skin coming out too glossy... looks plastic instead of skin
And the second is the skin coming out all white
The background and cloths look amazing, it's just the skin I'm having issues with. Any help is greatly appreciated.
