Subject: What is the best way to save a morph so it can be easily clicked / added?

Say you have one figure that has a morph you like using in other figures, and you can do the typical transfer morphs from the one character to another using the menu. But how do you save that individual morph to where its accessible in your collections? That way you don't need that base figure in the scene at all. I see other morphs out there so I imagine it is possible, yet I can't seem to figure it out for some reason. I've read about how there is setting that needs to be changed just to export morphs yet that had no effect for me. Any help is appreciated thx.

I made a video tutorial about making and saving morphs.

Hope this helps.

Do you want to be able to inject this morph anytime or just load the figure with your morph already loaded and ready for use?

You can create an INJ file using Poser's File>Export>Morph Injection but first make certain you have Use Binary Morphs in the General>Miscellaneous settings turned on. You'll then be asked which folder in Poses where you want to save the morph INJection.

If you just want to be able to load the figure with your preferred morph, save the figure to a new CR2 and a new name in the character folder, by clicking on the + symbol at the bottom of the character folder and typing a new name.

Thanks, I liked your tutorial, especially the pacing, I didn't feel like you dragged me at 200 mph through it like I feel on many problems. That Z brush does look pretty cool.

Unfortunately the problem remains. If it helps, the morph still works to be transferred from one figure to another while inside Poser using its function. But if I try to save the morph then just add it to a figure it loses its effect. Any ideas?

Did you create an INJ file so you can just inject your morph after exit and re-entry?

If you did and it's not loading automatically, all you have to do after injecting the morph is look on the parameters pallet and find your morph and then, dial it to 1.00

Unless you make some manual changes in the CR2, it won't load automatically unless you dial it in.

Here, I injected one of Fabiana's head morphs for La Femme

But it doesn't change the figure until I dial it in.
