Even if vendors move back to Poser it will take a while to see any marked change in the marketplace. I have purchased a lot of Poser items here recently but then I have not been buying from here for three years so to some degree I am catching up. I am not sure there will be a massive take up anyway but the inclusion of La Femme and the HiveWire 3D family of figures might tempt a few back to Poser. I am not being anti Poser here as I have been using it for more than fifteen years and I do not use DS, I am just stating the situation as I see it.
On the plus side I am able to buy all of the Poser content from the three vendors I support over at Daz, I have a very small wish list at HiveWire as I am generally able to buy what I need as it is launched. In addition most of the Poser vendors here provide some very high quality products as do the vendors at HiveWire, so while I would like to see more Poser content I am fairly happy with the situation as it stands.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
Hornet3D is right.. there's a lot of catching up to do for Poser users that have moved away.. I've been around day in and day out and yet I'm STILL catching up on a monthly basis! 100% Poser user here too since version 3 and not using DS either!
There are frequent LaFemme and other Poser releases in RMP but we also like to keep them back and create group releases that have a much larger impact rather than the products getting lost in between the plethora of DS items.
Vendors are free to decide on their own on the product and figures they are using.. some use all .. like Tempesta3d.. to those I bow! They have my endless respect for their endless capabilities and support to the entire community! Others feel comfortable only in DS.. some - like me - just can't live without Poser.. everything else seems strange and odd.
So as hornet3D suggested... catching up is the way to go right now and check out the what's new page daily plus keeping up with the newsletter not to miss new Poser item releases.. there's a newsletter just for that! More goodies coming pretty soon! :)

There have already been some changes here as some of the products from HiveWire 3D have been added to the Renderosity marketplace. If the wider exposure leads to more sales the vendors of those products may well develop more but for that to happen Poser users need to support those vendors that are putting the effort into supporting Poser.
One trend I have seen over the past few years is that those still creating for Poser are clearly upping their game and while the quantity may have gone down the quality has gone up. They are also taking on the extra features of the latest versions of Poser and making sure the materials work in both firefly and Superfly. It may be that there are so few vendors competing in the Poser market that they can make some decent returns, if that is the case we may need to look very carefully at what we wish for.

One of the problems here, going forward, is that Poser is clearly the poor cousin as opposed to DS, I am not complaining as I accept this is just how it is at the moment. The trouble with this means many of the sales, particularly the one day sales, are heavily weighted towards DS. Now this again probably only reflects the marketplace but Poser users see far more sales for DS even more so if, like me, you do not see Genesis related stuff as being Poser content. Somehow Rendo are going to have to try and shift the balance slightly more towards Poser if they are going to be successful owners of Poser.

We Poser vendors are getting there, folks. Just be patient.
Getting products into the store is not a fast process and we're all working our tails off to make it all happen.
And, hornet is correct - we're not only trying to get product in the store, we're creating products that take advantage of all the new Poser bells and whistles for our customers.
We'll get there.

If you are on the case the future can be nothing but rosy.

Awwww, thank you. Blushing.....
Truthfully, I agree with the OP. I'm really hoping to see Poser items dominate the Marketplace in 2020! (Of course, all of this would be moot if we had native support for G3 and G8 figures, as well as a way to use poses and expressions stored in DUF format... )

With Renderosity acquiring Poser I thought we'd start seeing more product for that software and its figures..... But still the Marketplace seems dominated these days by DS and Genesis figures.... Will that change I wonder..? I'm not so sure.... Any thoughts..?
Injustice will be avenged.
