Okay, I think I'm done with this texture... I've created 4 different head textures, the original Pink, Black, and Red make-up textures, and a No Make Up texture, finished the Body texture, created an eyelash/eyebrown transmap (really it is just part of the head textures) and a body transmap for the pubic hair... none of the transmaps are that good, but it's a start. And made bump maps for the head and body. I'm going to make MAT files that will apply all of the textures, and I'm thinking about adding a few more eye color textures... Uncompressed, right now the textures are 17 megs, not counting the .bum files... but that does count the .jpg files I used to make the .bum files (which I NOW see why people say .bum files waste space... the .jpg for the head is only 2 megs, the .bum is almost 12). I can add different eye colors to the existing head textures to give more eye options, so that shouldn't make the file any bigger... I don't have anywhere to upload this to yet once I've got everything complete, and I'm planning, right now to offer it as a freebie. Any other comments/complaints/suggestions for me to do? Additionally, would you pay for a texture set like this? I know that's not a completely fair question since you can't see from these pictures exactly what you'd be getting... but just based on these pictures, if the price were right - like 10 bucks - and the transmaps were better - would you consider something like this? I'm planning another texture set after this one that would have even more make up options - yes Marque, including Cleopatra ;) - and eye textures, along with some poses and a character-face setting). Oh, BTW this is for dacort's Natalia.

Personal preference I suppose... part of the reason I wanted to include a no-make up texture was so that people could make their own, since I know my taste in make up doesn't match the "mainstream" I prefer heavy/extremish make up... I mean... you don't really see that many women walking down the street with RED eyeshadow. ;) I looked at your WIP image, and if I had done it, I would've softened the lips and faded the eyeshadow out further along the edges... but like I said, it's a personal preference.

They look pretty good. you may want to compress the texture size to better ease. also you may want to make the bum files just B/W jpg and let the users convert them. that way you can keep the zips of modest size. you may also want to think about leaving the bum files out of the mat files. just a couple things to think on. just keep in mind the easier it is to use your textures the more likley people will use your textures.

...or you can take the bum files, convert to bmp, decrease to 16 colors, save as bmp, and then rename as bum. Not my idea, someone else posted the trick here before, but it's so worth the space it provides, that I went through and converted all my bum files that way a long time ago. eng

I've still got the greyscale .jpg versions of the bump files, and they're not that big... I'll probably just end up lowering the dpi on them... I think I've got them set to something like 200 dpi, which I don't think I really need them to be that high... I don't know how much of a difference it'll make to the look of the texture if I lower it. I'll probably leave the settings for the bump map in the MAT pose settings, and maybe just not load the texture... if you don't have the settings set right the bump maps look really bad... the poor thing looks like she's covered in cement!
