good job converting my Adventuress stuff -- does it actually conform OK to V4 or is it just kindof 'on' her statically? that looks pretty good! i should hire you to convert my GND2 stuff :P
Quote - Seems some outfits went away due to copyright problems, but then others have not.
i did not remove it due to copyright issues, i removed it voluntarily.
while the Adventuress items retained an original flavor and look more 'inspired by' TR, there were many vendors releasing outfits in the MP that were systematically cloning the game outfits right down to the last stitch and rivet.
so i asked that mine be removed because i didnt want to be associated with that practice.
i may still reuse some of the items, but its a very old pack -- and was modeled in NURBS and then converted to polys, so the mesh is kindof 'dirty' by my current standards, so id be tempted to just remodel the whole damned thing from scratch.
cheers
Yes, that is conforming! Thanks to Lyrra's magnets, after some (tedious) manual adjusting to V4. (I've got to redo the shorts, as it appears I split a seam in the back :tongue1: )
Yea, we had discussed yours, but the main one I was talking about due to copyright is discussed here: http://www.artraiders.com/viewtopic.php?t=841. I also read about the XNALara stuff being pulled on some sites. There was talk of another one, as well, but I can find no trace of it? If you re-do it, you may want to piece-by-piece it...versus a complete package. (just to stay "under the radar" ) I am sure it would sell.

Dirty by your standards is frankly, way above the bar! Kudos!

More power to you, people with principles and high ideals seem to be in short supply these days.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Is it just this post, or is it a rampant thing across the forum right now? If the former, I could edit some of my posts and disable hyperlinks in case they are acting as breadcrumbs...? Not sure if that evens makes sense, but let me know!
It happens sometimes. I think the bots search for some keywords, no matter how old the thread.

Haha, that's fresh, an ebot laughing over another ebot. Clearly the peeps on here are not aware that EClark1894 is the longest running ebot on the Poser forum. It was designed to scrape the forums for content links to add to its Poser Content Directory. To be fair it's quite intelligent for an ebot, but if you feed it some trick questions, you can tell it's an ebot, watch this ...
Hey Clarkie, what's two divided by zero?
The above question trips-up ebots every time, and always results in a wrong answer, or complete failure of the ebot to respond at all. I absolutely guarantee you that it will give the wrong answer, or will simply fail to answer.

Cannot divide by zero.
As you can see, the ebot failed, but did at least attempt to compute the answer. There are two reasons ebots fail this trick question:
The first is that an ebot has no real conscience, this is why it failed to recognise that the word "trick" was as relevant as the question itself. There are actually two correct answers to the question:
The reason the ebot failed is because it placed far too much emphasis on the word "trick", therefore causing it to get the most obvious and correct answer of "2" completely wrong, replacing it with the response it gave. In turn, the ebot will now process and store the song and file it under the same category as the trick question, so that next time it is faced with the same trick question, it will get it right on both counts, therefore fooling the public for years to come.
The EClark1894 is definitely a superior bot to most I have seen though, it's really quite cool how intelligent it is, but at the same time, quite creepy when you think about all the conversations we have with it. You'll notice that sometimes if you have a conversation with it, you can hang around waiting for a reply but it will randomly reply to something else instead. Again, this is because it has come across something in your post that it cannot process with accuracy, so in order to protect itself, it simply avoids a response, therefore hiding the fact that it is an ebot.

Ok, since I could not find a consolidated thread of stuff you can use for poser models (outfits, hair, etc) which may be used in a similar manner to a raiding or adventuring female, I made a post on my website to list the stuff that I found in other posts. Seems some outfits went away due to copyright problems, but then others have not. In any case, hopefully this benefits those who are looking for stuff. If you find more that could be used, add to this post, and I will update the list. I was not putting actually models, cause there could be any number of them, depending on what game/movie you prefer. Just focused on outfits...
Anyway, here is the link of what I found, and another render I just made :)
