Can who ever's job it is fix the notices counter for over a week it has been off saying two always, before that it was stuck at 1 TODAY FIVE ... come on.. hard to tell if we really have notices or not..

Jim, just click on "Mark all as read"

I do that every time I read them.. it's stuck saying 5 still LOL

While viewing your account I saw no notices. You may need to refresh or clear your browser cache. This can happen when a member deletes their comment. We have posted this to our issue tracker.

I got them to go away by telling it to delete all unread messages.. even though I did not see any unread

Hey Digital_Dames,

I am responding here to follow up on the issue you reported. We have recently improved the notifications feature by labeling the deleted comment "deleted comment" that way it will show up for you to be able to manage. I usually mark all as read rather than delete them. We are working on other ways to improve notifications in the future. If you have any suggestions please post in the Changes Wanted in the Community Forum.
